MY STORY
I Didn't Learn Business From the Outside Looking In.
I prepared my first tax returns during my senior year of college. I didn't know it yet, but that was the start of everything.
After college, I went into corporate accounting, then worked in CPA firms. The whole time, I kept preparing taxes on my own. What started as a side hustle slowly grew into a real business.
Like a lot of entrepreneurs, I took the money I made from taxes and used it to start other businesses. One of my first was selling bow ties. It taught me fast that not every hustle is worth the hours. Later, I owned a trucking company for three years and a construction company for two.
Those businesses showed me what life is really like on the other side of the tax return: covering payroll, managing expenses, taking risks, and wondering whether you kept enough of what you earned.
When I closed the construction company, it hit me. I had been taking the proceeds from my tax business to build other businesses, when the gold mine was right in front of me the whole time. Taxes made money consistently, the overhead was low, and I could run a lean operation. So I went all in.
That's how Real Tax Pro was born.
I understand the accounting side. I understand the tax side. And I understand what it feels like to sit on the business-owner side of the table.
WHY I TEACH

Once I went all in, I noticed something. The same things making me money could make money for other people too, if someone would just show them how.
I'm passionate about taxes, and I believe everyone should understand this business and have the chance to earn from it. Teaching what I've learned just makes sense: when the people I work with win, I win too.
I also got tired of what I saw in this industry. Too many people take advantage of beginners with overpriced programs, hidden fees, and promises that never pay off. I wanted to show people that not all of us are wolves. Some of us actually care.
